We all know about the essential items that need to be kept in your car: first aid, extra wheel, jump cables and tools for changing a wheel. In this blog post we will discuss what additional items you need to keep in your car to always be prepared.
Blankets: You never know what’s going to happen. You could break down somewhere, get lost and you or your children might get cold. Keep one or two blankets in the car in case of a keeping warm emergency.
Salt or Sand: It might sound like an odd item but they work. Salt helps melt snow if you get stuck during a snow storm. Sand will help you with traction if you ever get stuck in the mud somewhere. These two are life savers in the right situations!
Snacks: You don’t need a five-star gourmet restaurant in your car but you can pack some snacks for emergency situations. Imagine lugging back all of your kids from their after-school activities only to have a tyre burst. It will help to keep the kids entertained with some food while you sort the situation out!
Extra Clothing: This one is obvious. You never know when you’re going to need an extra set of clothes!
